” In its first year, Lokmata Study Foundation celebrated the 300th Birth Anniversary of Great Queen of Malwa, Lokmata Ahilyabai Holkar. With an aim to spread her story and highlight the significance of her achievements, We organized various events including seminars, lectures series and presentations. We constituted a team of willing and able researchers to publish articles and essays on her life after thorough research. With effective data collection and presentation we were able to publish two books highlighting her significance in history of this great nation. We also roped in a highly motivated group of young artists and organized a painting exhibition depicting her life via paintings. Currently we are working on translation of the books published in over 10 languages. We are also planning to bring a series of comic books for our young readers.”
